{Updated} Family beach pictures are always a hit for choosing a location in San Diego! I love photographing families at many of the beaches along our beautiful coast. San Diego offers many different beach backdrops from the beautiful rocks of La Jolla to the cliffs of Torrey Pines to the rustic pier in Pacific Beach and so many more.  Many families want pictures on the beach, since you really can’t beat the beauty and colors the beach provides. San Diego beach photography has always been one of the top spots I’ve done family portraits over the years.  I just love the beach and it’s one of my favorite places to be.

This stunning family has had their beach photos done with me for several years and I have seen their crew grow from one to four gorgeous kiddos! My first session with them, their oldest was a 6 month old baby and we had some fun photographing her in a basket. Time sure flies!  This particular session was done at their favorite beach in La Jolla just north of Windansea.  I love the blues and whites they chose for their clothing.  As you’ll see below, the colors go very well with the blues in the ocean.
