As an extended family photographer in San Diego,  I absolutely cherish getting to capture portraits for families who are all together at one time.  What an amazing and special time, especially when there are little ones involved since they change so much over the years.  Extended family portraits can feel complicated and scary, but they don’t have to be at all.  Choosing a photographer with a lot of experience wrangling people and children is important. Also, having a photographer who is high energy and fun helps…hint, hint, that’s me!  I love leaving a session knowing everyone had a good time and will look fondly back on it.

This stunning family was here in San Diego on vacation all together in Mission Beach.   The babies were a bit under the weather during this session, but they still did amazingly well not feeling their best. As you can see they all kept the color palette simple and clean and the variation of dresses, button-ups, creams and whites kept the style timeless and beautiful.  Plus the sky had gorgeous hues of blue as well that morning which made the water super vibrant as well.
