It has been rainy, windy, and cold here this week. Far cry from 80 degree weather just a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, we haven’t been outside much … READ THE POST »
Sooooooooooooooo, I’ve decided to start a new project because I just have so much extra time on my hands. <----------insert sarcastic cackle here. I do want to take more personal pictures though. Not necessarily portraits of the kiddos all the time, but I want to keep capturing the real life moments that go on as they grow. Which led me to agreeing to do the 52 week project. There was NO way I could keep up with a 365 project, so don't ever suggest that one to me. :P I will post a picture a week (not that bad right?) and I won't promise it will always be fantastic, but it will make me slow down and remember to take pictures for the very reason I started taking pictures. Whew, talk about a run-on mumble-jumble sentence. So I hope you all will come along in this journey with me and help keep me accountable! 1/52 My Bray-Bray with his buddy Cameron. Cameron's mommy and I met through flickr back when I was pregnant with Cayson. We both were pretty new to photography and ecstatic to find another person all-consumed by this passion for taking pictures. We like to torture our kids and try to get them to kiss for pictures (shhh don't tell their daddy's), and I just loved this one out of the bunch I took.

I first photographed Dylan when she was around 3 years old, and letβs just say she definitely gave me a run for my money! π Fast forward to her senior year, and she has grown into the loveliest, prettiest, and most incredibly fun young lady! And being the niece of one of my very best friends makes her even more special to me. π₯° I hope you have the best senior year Dylan! β€οΈ

I cannot believe summer is coming to an end! Iβve so enjoyed photographing so many vacationing families these past few months. This beautiful family was in town to beat the Texas heat and had a beautiful sunset session. π€

This beautiful senior came all the way from Illinois for her senior session and, of course, we had to take her portraits out on the beach! πβ¨ She was blessed with the most gorgeous sunset, making her session absolutely perfect. π
