Have you ever noticed the littlest things can sometimes make or break your day? Here are my little things so far this week!

The little things that made my day:

1. Little notes and comments from friends and strangers saying the nicest things. . .I think it’s amazing that people will go out of their day to email me or comment and say something that makes me smile from ear to ear! Thank you!
2. My 3 year old falling asleep on my lap at bedtime instead of in his bed. I held him for a long time after because I know it won’t be long until this won’t happen anymore. <3 3. My kids playing for about an hour last night with NO fights or injuries and a lot of laughs instead. Booyah! 4. Starbucks Iced Coffee. I know, I know, I overplay it. But it makes me happy and that in turn, makes my family happy. It’s a win-win situation.
5. Facetime. I never knew how much I could laugh from making funny faces and burping with a good friend of mine all the way over in Vermont. Even her 7 year old and my 7 year old had a good ole time meeting each other and burping in each-others faces. (What, that’s not normal?)

The little things that broke my day:

1. McDonald’s Shamrock Shake. I was so excited to try one of these, because I LOVE Mint, but it was an epic McFail. I’m not going to lie, it tasted like a mixture of cleaning solution and mint ice cream gone bad. Sad times for me.
2. Doing kettle-bells and pulling a back muscle. . .what am I like 80 years old now? My husband is an AVID cross-fitter and I try and do it twice a week b.c I know he loves that I am doing something he loves. Aren’t I sweet? (His own X-fit blog can be found HERE).
3. Finding a note that my 7 year old wrote with the names of her “crushes”. Say what? I’ve prayed every day she wouldn’t be boy-crazy like me. . .looks like I will get a taste of the medicine I made my mom and dad drink for years. Sweet. (I blame the boy who tried to kiss me inside the tires at school in 1st grade. . .you know who you are ADAM)
4. TMJ . What do you mean I can’t chew gum? And seriously, did I really have to inherit ALL of my families problems?

What little things made or broke your day this week? 😉

xoxo,

Kristin

P.S. My baby celebrated his 3rd birthday last week, here’s one pic from our little session together. I’ll be sure to share more soon!
