I am a huge believer in giving back to others for what I’ve been given. Practicing gratitude is something that is very close to my heart and it has changed my life. A few years ago, I was introduced to an organization that helps sponsor children in Uganda. Kuwasha’s goal is to partner with organizations in Uganda to ignite transformational change through quality Christian Education, Healthcare and Community Development.

Back in 2019, two of my kids and I had the amazing opportunity to go on a trip to Uganda and visit Kibaale Community Centre, which is the place where we sponsor 3 children monthly. We were able to meet these amazing kids and spend time in their classrooms as well as make home visits to their families. It was truly a life-changing experience. I am forever grateful to have been able to witness the pure joy and love the people of Kibaale have for life and I’m grateful I get the opportunity to help support their education goals.
