Being a family photographer in San Diego has many perks. I adore capturing families and little ones and I get to photograph the sweetest clients. This session below was no exception. I am a huge fan of baby’s in baskets…always have been and forever always will be! This adorable little baby below was so good for her portrait session. Babies are always easier to photograph when they can sit, but aren’t yet quite mobile. Once they are mobile, watch out! That’s when the insanity starts and then I’m chasing around after them trying to get eye contact.

This particular photo session was done at sunset time and the lighting was so warm and pretty. San Diego has so many beautiful nature spots for photos. This particular location was in the North County Escondido area. Bridges always make for great family photos as well. Family photography in San Diego is unmatched when you think about all of the different types of locations you can choose for a backdrop.

As you’ll see below this family had a beautiful color scheme for their portraits. The colors popped out against the color of the trees and leaves. The GAP always has adorable clothes for little ones as well that look great in portraits. Also, that bow on her head….gah, so adorable. Enjoy a peek into their family portrait session below!
