We moved to San Diego from the East Coast a few years ago and wanted to have some pictures taken after our 5 year anniversary. I did an extensive search for a photographer. I am definitely picky about who I hire to take our pictures because it is an investment. I find that most photographers take a ton of pictures, but only a few end up being ones I would want to print. When I came across Kristin on Facebook, and then looked through her portfolio, I knew I had found “the one”!! If you look through her blog you will see that every picture is amazing. She kindly agreed to do a couples shoot for us even though she mainly does family photography. Our pictures were perfect. I had a REALLY hard time narrowing down the ones I wanted. OH…. and of course I have not even mentioned yet how nice and sweet she is!! She is so down to earth and friendly. I just adore her. Since our couples pictures we had twins and she has photographed them as well. I cannot wait to hire her for a family session now that the kids are toddlers. There are a million photographers in San Diego, but I am convinced that Kristin is the best.

Kristin has done all four of my children’s newborn photos. She is so patient and an expert at it. She recently did our family’s first ever family photo shoot. Kristin helped me pick out what colors of clothing would look best and what to avoid based on the location we picked. She really has a gift and makes it seem effortless to capture beautiful photos.

Kristin is an absolute gem. We have used Kristin for multiple occasions including business portfolio portraits, kindergarten photos, family photos and now our oldest son’s senior portraits. She makes every aspect of the process easy and efficient and fun and the final product is always absolutely beautiful. Our three little ones LOVE Kristin. We have done 4 (?) different photo shoots with her, and each time, there are so many wonderful proofs that it is difficult to choose the favorites. She is able to capture the essence of each child–a true artist, not just a picture-taker. Getting one toddler to smile can be difficult; getting three toddlers (twins plus brother) to smile all at the same time is next to impossible. Yet, she does it every time! She has given us treasured gifts of wonderful moments in time to remember as they so quickly grow.

She always captures the greatest photos of my family even when the kiddos are being difficult and makes the shoots fun, efficient, and low stress. If you are like me and want to do as little planning as possible, she will handle everything so you just have to worry about getting your family dressed and there on time.
