That’s me!!! Miss start a project and never finish it. It’s something about me that drives my poor husband crazy because he is SO organized and on top of everything and I. . . . well, am SO not. I have definitely become more disciplined running a business and have surprised myself at how well I keep on top of everything with that, but I think it’s because I know I have to or I won’t have a business lol! Everything else is just something that can be done sometime, so I put it off until the pressure to do it erupts like a bad zit (gross!).

Which gets me to my point of starting a new project, or shall I call it an un-project? One that it’s o.k. to be late on or not to finish, but that I will at least have some great memories from. It’s my “I don’t know how many days project……..” as coined by a great friend and an amazing photographer to boot. Her name is Lisa Harrison and I am so blessed to have met her as a friend through the crazy internet world (the link is to her 365 project). I also call it “Snapshots of my Good Life” because I for one, have a GREAT life and need to remind myself how good it is and two, don’t want to always feel the pressure to be producing portraits as opposed to fun snapshots of my kids (even though I’ll more than likely show the better ones here because that’s how I roll).

So I’m not sure how often I’ll post them here on my blog or how often I’ll even take pictures or how long this all will last, but it’s for the now and I’m super excited about it (just like any new project). Except this one is fun and there are no high expectations on myself and that will be good for me.

I got to watch my adorable niece Jenna for 5 days this month and had to take a close-up of her amazing baby blues.
