Meet Rod and May. . .one of the sweetest couples I’ve met in this photography journey of mine. I adored the dress she chose as I am a huge fan of flowy material in pregnancy portraits. They are expecting their first baby in September and hopefully daddy, who is about to leave on deployment, will be back for the big event!

I did get a little emotional when editing these pictures. I know our family is complete, but it’s still hard to come to grips with the fact that I won’t ever be experiencing pregnancy or childbirth again. Did those of you who were finished ever feel that way???? I know never to say never, but we’ve (my husband and I of course) have thought long and hard about it and had many discussions about it. We feel quite blessed with the three we have and I think four children might make me a whole lot nuttier than I already am!

Ok, ok, I’ll stop blabbering! Onto the gorgeous glowing couple.

And my absolute fav from the session. . .it makes me sigh with happiness. To me it symbolizes this huge wide open world out there ready for their sweet baby to make it’s entrance into. I can’t wait to meet him!

Nothing is more exciting than knowing you are only a few mere weeks away from bringing a child into the world! This beautiful couple is ALMOST THERE! I had such a great time getting some pictures of your beautiful belly and cannot wait to meet your new addition!!!!!! (crossing my fingers for a girl. . .hee hee!)

This beautiful couple already have seen their gallery but I had to share! It was great getting to meet their family and get some shots of her gorgeous belly. This first-time mom was so much fun to photograph. As you can see, she is not only gorgeous but completely comfortable in front of the camera. Her bump could not be any more perfect either….I was convinced she was just hiding a basketball under there at first! I cannot wait to get my hands on her precious bundle in just a few short weeks!
