Well, my kiddos are back to school which leaves me with my last baby here at home. I am a bit sad he will go to preschool next year and I feel like time is just rushing by way too fast.It’s amazing to see how much they grow from the time they are a newborn until they are 3 like my little man. I just have to hold tight to the memories of when they were babies and snuggle my newborn clients extra hard. <3

Meet sweet Charlotte, she was just about 2 weeks at the time of our session back in July and definitely fun to snuggle. Such a gorgeous little babe and her big brother is gorgeous too. Their family was so easy to work with and had such great personalities which made working with them so much fun. So, welcome to the world sweet Charlotte. . . .

The kids go back to school next week and while I’m sooooooo sad summer is over as we’ve been doing so many fun things, I do feel a little excited at the prospect of being able to get things done again. One of those things is blogging a bit more. It’s been nice to really spend some quality time with the family so some things just had to slide and blogging was one of them. I just LOVE showing off my beautiful clients though! This blog post is of Kalli, my friend from high school’s beautiful baby girl and her big brother and sister.

It’s been a busy month over here! We went on an 8 day trip to Maui and sessions have been in full force since I’ve gotten home. I’ve met so many amazing and beautiful people in the last month. Here are some recent pics from the sessions I haven’t had a chance to blog yet along with a couple from Hawaii!!!!

These two are cousins and were so fun and hilarious. I have many more to share from their family shoot out on this gorgeous property!

These are cousins from a 16 family member session I did recently! This group of kids (a couple aren’t pictured as they are running behind this crew) were also SO much fun and we captured some really great moments.

This is Kalli at around 2 weeks old. . . isn’t she gorgeous?? She is the daughter of one of my best friends from back in high school!

Little Nicholas was an adorable 2 week old little man!!!! Loved his sweet, red lips!

These next two beautiful girlies are from one of my favorite client families. I’ve been photographing them since little Caroline (below) was a newborn!

This little beauty came with her two bigger brothers to my studio for her 3 month portraits. . .we even managed some sleeping ones of her!

Aren’t they breathtaking? Love this image of 8 year old big brother and his 2 week old sister.

I’m missing a few sessions that were this past week, but I hope to show some of those soon!!!

And these last two are of my own from Maui!! <3

Little Chase was only one week old at our session and he was seriously one of my easiest newborn babies ever. He was conked out the entire time and let me put him in a bunch of different positions without any qualms. Gotta love that!!! He also was scrumptiously cute so he was the all-around awesome package deal.

I had to post this first one just to show how big his feet are. . . this kid is going to be TALL just like his daddy!

Thanks Q family for having me capture this special time in your lives. . . little Chase is perfect and you both are so blessed!!!!!!

Happy Mother’s Day!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful relaxing day!

Meet baby Ella and her gorgeous family. Ella’s grandpa is the Pastor of our church and we have been so blessed to have had him as our Pastor before my husband and I were even married. He’s baptized all of our kids and he is seriously one of the most amazing ministers to listen to. I love chubby babies and Ella (and her big brother!) are both so squishy and adorable!

I know, I know. . .it’s either feast or famine with this blog! I convince myself to keep up and then I do for a week, but then something gets in the way (it’s called life!) and I lag. I’m sure it’s cool with you all though and you aren’t waiting on pins and needles for me to post my next blog session. . .although you can totally pretend you are so that I feel ultra cool.It doesn’t take much to make me excited. . .an 80 degree day, an iced coffee, a slab of beef, kids who behave. . .it’s the little things.

Anywho, Meet Charlie and Caroline! Charlie was almost TWELVE weeks old when we did his pictures. Yup, you heard me right! A three month old who let me take pictures like this. . .I was in disbelief most of the time.His mom did an amazing job of keeping him awake so that he’d be super tired for the session. Charlie had a terrible case of infant acne so mom wanted to wait a bit to get his pictures taken, but you’d never be able to tell looking at that creamy skin! We had a great time and little Caroline was such a well behaved 2 year old and had the most infectious smile.

You were so much fun to work with C family! Charlie and Caroline are so perfect and I can see what a huge blessing they both are in your life!! Best of luck to you in your new location!

This perfect, beautiful baby boy was such a sweet mix of both his mommy and daddy in my eyes. When he came back to see me again a couple of weeks later, I really saw his momma’s features starting to develop in his little face and I just think how much of a miracle it is that something so small and perfect can look so much like the people who created him. What a special gift from above it is to mix two amazing people in love and produce this amazing little human being. Life is such a gift and I’m so happy to be able to capture a new little life in what I do. They don’t stay like this for long and oh how I wish I had pictures like this of my first two. To be able to remember the small features, the flaky feet, the teeny lips. . .it’s such a beautiful thing!

This one makes me laugh. . .he’s looking at me like I’m some psychotic lady with a huge camera, probably because I was some psychotic lady with a huge camera lol.

I said I would share some from recent sessions, so here they are!! I still have many more to share, but they will have to wait for now. I hope to also do a favorites of 2010 post like I did for 2009 too. So many things to do, so little time!!!! Merry Christmas Everyone!

First off, the beautiful Makena. Isn’t she a stunning newborn? I photographed her big brother Kai when he was a newborn. . .it’s so fun to watch families grow!

I’m sure you recognize Brianne, my great friend and amazing San Diego photographer, from prior blog posts. This is her gorgeous family, husband included this time.

And this cutie is making another debut on my blog for his 6 month old pictures! I’m sure you’ll remember him and his stunning mama (and dad too!)

Meet the deliciously adorable Madeleine and her big sister Caroline. Madeleine may look familiar to you as I did her big sister’s pictures about 18 months ago as a newborn, and they look SO much alike!! They come from a gene pool with killer looks as you’ll see in just a bit with their parents.

Thank you Magan and Andy for letting me capture all of these awesome milestones in your lives. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your family and watching it grow!!
