Week 5! I decided to get one of the three of them together similar to one I did of them together when my little destroyer was only a few months old. 
Also, I have some very exciting news! We are moving and the new place we will be has a fabulous, large room perfect for a studio!! I am so excited to be able to have this as an option, especially for my newborn client’s. Stay tuned for pics in the next few months!

Sooooooooooooooo, I’ve decided to start a new project because I just have so much extra time on my hands. < ----------insert sarcastic cackle here. I do want to take more personal pictures though. Not necessarily portraits of the kiddos all the time, but I want to keep capturing the real life moments that go on as they grow. Which led me to agreeing to do the 52 week project. There was NO way I could keep up with a 365 project, so don't ever suggest that one to me. 
I will post a picture a week (not that bad right?) and I won't promise it will always be fantastic, but it will make me slow down and remember to take pictures for the very reason I started taking pictures. Whew, talk about a run-on mumble-jumble sentence. So I hope you all will come along in this journey with me and help keep me accountable!

My Bray-Bray with his buddy Cameron. Cameron's mommy and I met through flickr back when I was pregnant with Cayson. We both were pretty new to photography and ecstatic to find another person all-consumed by this passion for taking pictures. We like to torture our kids and try to get them to kiss for pictures (shhh don't tell their daddy's), and I just loved this one out of the bunch I took.
Wow wow wow! I cannot believe a whole year has flown by. What an amazing year it was for me! I couldn’t have dreamed of it being better. I had some of the most amazing clients and did a job that I absolutely love. How great is that?!?!?! I hope you all have a wonderful New Year’s Day and that 2010 brings you health and happiness. I think ‘10 would start off better if I got rid of this dragon breath, so I’ll start it by brushing my teeth.

You may have noticed something different. . . .I have a new logo for Kristin Rachelle Photography! I LOVED my old logo, but I wanted something that fit me a little better. Something a little more fun and I think this one is ME! I also changed up my profile picture (taken by the VERY talented Allison/Snippets from Suburbia) and my introduction to the blog. Just wanted to share with you all!
Meet Matt and Holly……a gorgeous, so much-in-love couple. In fact, their love oozed out into pretty much every picture I caught of them. This is saying a lot coming from two people who have been married for 16 years and who are in the middle of probably one of the most trying times in their lives. Their faith, love, and gentle spirits captivated me and they were such a joy to photograph.
Thanks to Ashley for inviting me along to capture this couple’s amazing love for eachother and their baby girl, Anabelle.
Anabelle has a severe form of Spina Bifida… you can read more about her and this family’s story Here and Here. Holly and Matt are scheduled to have their baby girl on August 16. I hope you all will join me in saying a prayer for them and their sweet Anabelle that God’s will would be done and that He might give them peace.
