Remember this cutie I showed a few weeks ago?

Well, I’m finally getting around to showing some images from his beach session with mommy and daddy. One year old Javi was so easy-going and happy and gave me so many sweet smiles!! Gotta love a happy baby!!!!

Ana and Luis, thank you for choosing me to capture your beautiful family! I had a blast with you guys and hope to see you again in the future!

Get ready for cuteness overload. These sisters were SO sweet to each other and I could tell they had the most amazing friendship and love for each other already. I had such a great time playing with them!

And big brother was not a fan of pics, but I managed to crack him a few time.

This gorgeous family is from Dallas and I couldn’t wait to meet them! Jennifer’s (mom) main goal was an artsy, fun family portrait. Yay!!! They were a blast to photograph and we had a lot of laughs. I even managed to break the teenager, Mitchell, from his teenager-ism (made up word ) for awhile. He taught me some new lingo and we gave each other knuckles. . .I’m so cool it kills me. HAHA! Blaire, his sweet, loving, beautiful sister was so fun and full of energy and life. The only bummer was the weather, it was super gloomy and overcast. But I think it turned out just fine.

Seriously, how gorgeous are they!??!?

This was their equivalent to a jumping shot. . .love it!!! They are a sporty family so this fits.

southern california beach photographer | freeze the memories

The C family was out here visiting from Tucson, AZ where it is insanely hot right now. I remember visiting my brother and sister-in-law out there in the summer and almost melting into the pavement. I’m definitely spoiled by California’s weather!

Bernadine and her husband take a vacation out to San Diego every year with their grandsons (who are cousins by they way, not brothers) and she wanted to capture some moments of them all on the beach before the boys get too much bigger. I kept looking for “grandparents” when meeting up with them all, my eyes kept passing over them and you’ll see why. They don’t look like grandparents! They were such a fun family and those boys made me laugh a lot. . .I had to use my skillz to make them laugh too.

I just think it’s so cool that they set up a session for this. It is so amazing how pictures can capture something so fun, innocent, and beautiful. I love that these boys were the epitome of youth and rambunctious little men. My memory is so bad already at the ripe age of 31 and I can’t imagine not having pictures to capture these kinds of memories. It truly is one of life’s greatest gifts!

Thank you Bernadine and Lyle for entrusting me to capture your amazing relationship with your grandsons!!! And thank you Marcus and Andrew for being fun and laughing at my crazy jokes. You handsome boys try to stay out of trouble!

san diego family photographer | and now it’s time to say good-bye. . .

to the V-fab family. Rachael, Mark, and little O have been a part of our church family for many years now and life’s journey is taking them in a new direction. They are moving to Michigan at the end of this month so they wanted some beach portraits before they left the amazing state of California. Rachael is pregnant with her second baby and I’m bummed I won’t be able to see him/her grow up like I was able to see little Owen over this past 18 months. I took some maternity portraits of Rachael when she was pregnant with him too, so you may recognize her beautiful face!

Isn’t he so freaking cute?!?!?! Like a little doll.
