Meet Rod and May. . .one of the sweetest couples I’ve met in this photography journey of mine. I adored the dress she chose as I am a huge fan of flowy material in pregnancy portraits. They are expecting their first baby in September and hopefully daddy, who is about to leave on deployment, will be back for the big event!

I did get a little emotional when editing these pictures. I know our family is complete, but it’s still hard to come to grips with the fact that I won’t ever be experiencing pregnancy or childbirth again. Did those of you who were finished ever feel that way???? I know never to say never, but we’ve (my husband and I of course ) have thought long and hard about it and had many discussions about it. We feel quite blessed with the three we have and I think four children might make me a whole lot nuttier than I already am!

Ok, ok, I’ll stop blabbering! Onto the gorgeous glowing couple.

And my absolute fav from the session. . .it makes me sigh with happiness. To me it symbolizes this huge wide open world out there ready for their sweet baby to make it’s entrance into. I can’t wait to meet him!
