Happy 2nd birthday to my baby boy!!! I took him to Starbucks this morning since it was just the two of us. I got him a cupcake and some chocolate milk. . .and wouldn’t you know, he doesn’t want to take a nap today. I wonder why???? Since it’s his birthday week, he gets all of the attention on my blog. Stay tuned for a gorgeous 4 week old boy on Monday!

Yes, I know we are in week 8. . .I was a slacker last week on the project. BUT in my defense, I have been working my tail off painting and getting our new house ready to move into. So things have been a bit hectic to say the least!!! We are on the home stretch now and the new flooring is going in this week. YIPPEEEEE!!!!
In the midst of all of the chaos, my BABY boy is going to turn two this week. 
I have to say that I am pretty sad about this. We are done having kids and now I will never have another “baby” in the house. Instead my baby will turn into a 2 year old wild man. Granted, he’s been preparing me for that this last few months, but it still makes me sad that he will be two.
Here he is in all of his cuteness. . .leftover paint in his hair and all. I think we ruined 2 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and 2 sweatshirts in the painting process!

Little Will was born the same day as my little niece! He just over a week in these pictures and made me work hard for his sleeping shots. 
I think it was worth it though! Plus I got to take some pictures of his ADORABLE brother Jon-Jon in the process. I still can’t get over how gorgeous all the families I get to photograph are! Happy Friday!

Meet my sweet baby niece Jenna. She was a week old when we did these pictures of her and quite possibly the easiest baby I’ve ever photographed. She was so super sleepy and smiled so much in her sleep. She almost makes me want one more! If only they stayed small like this forever.
Since she’s my niece, I figured I could go hog wild and post a ton so that is what I’m going to do! Welcome to the world little J!

This GORGEOUS family came all the way from Washington to have their pictures taken on sunny San Diego’s beach with me. Only there was a problem. . .the sun was not to be seen this certain weekend. In fact, we were having a TON of rain.
Allison decided we would go ahead with the session since they traveled so far and she had put SO much thought and care into the whole thing. When we got to the beach it was COLD, but the rain stopped for us and there was even some breaks in the clouds. Her kids were AMAZINGLY good and so sweet and funny. I fell head over heels in love with all of them.
Unfortunately, we stumbled up one more big obstacle about 15 minutes into our session. While I was taking pictures of the two boys, Miss C decided to take a HUGE dip into the ocean from head to toe. Luckily, the people they were staying with lived super close and brought us a spare change of clothes for her. She never cried ONCE and was such a trooper, blue lips and all!!!! We even managed to get a ton more great shots and finish out the session.
