never say never. . .

Two of my HUGEST life decisions started out as “I will NEVER do (insert word here).” The first one was a threat to my now husband of 8.5 years. I told him that if he became a cop, I would NEVER marry him. Apparently he didn’t take me seriously. . . and I must have not taken myself very seriously either, because we are in fact married and he is in fact a cop.

Second one was in regards to photography. I bought my first camera, a Canon Rebel xti, just to take better pictures of my kids. I’m pretty sure I didn’t stick to that one either. Nowadays I’m convinced that when I say “I will NEVER. . .”, I can actually hear God snickering from the heavens.
So my rambling advice to you this week is to NEVER say never. It will bite you in the butt and your significant other will never let you forget it.
