oh no she di’int!

Today I googled “How to overcome a Starbucks addiction.” It’s true, I did. And after I googled it, I hung my head in shame and then I snorted. Snorted in laughter. ;) Because really, the idea of looking to the internet to cure my serious addiction with overpriced coffee is quite crazy. Isn’t it? Or not so much? My muffin top is begging. . .pleading me to stop the iced coffee insanity (If you don’t know what a muffin top is, google it, and then click on images. . .hee hee). I read some of the tips to quit, and honestly besides admitting to the problem, I can’t say that I am now ready to go forth and conquer this addiction. Why am I telling you all this? No clue. It might make you laugh and it might make you cry as you realize that you too, have an addiction to Starbucks. Or it might just confirm that fact that I am weird.

Here’s a shirt I found that I’m putting on my Christmas list to help remind me to stay Starbucks clean.

Happy Cyber Monday! I’m off to get a Vanilla Iced Coffee. :P

san diego beach photographer | one year later

I had the great pleasure of doing baby Dane’s newborn pictures and now he is almost one year old! Here he is back when he was brand new. I can’t believe how fast time flies. It was amazing to see how much he’s grown and he is still just as adorable as ever. :) I know I say it all the time, but I get the most gorgeous families!!! And I have to brag just a little (sorry Kevin!), but Kevin is a very talented pitcher for the San Diego Padres. . .or so I’ve heard (I don’t follow sports very much if at all but I do love my Padres) ;) . Onto the pics!

This basket is becoming a must have for babies on the beach. Little Dane was anti-sand at first and loved hangin’ out in the basket.

san diego child photographer | return of the destroyer

He’s fast, he’s crazy, he climbs, he falls, he falls A LOT, and he gets into EVERYTHING. He’s the destroyer. :) Just one look at his sweet face, and he melts your heart and all the naughtiness just kind of disappears. Until you find the area where he dumped out an entire bottle of ranch dressing, or where he pooped on the carpet and you accidentally step in it, or when your toilet is clogged with a bath toy and needs to be taken apart, or your new thing of mascara is now all over his clothes and face, or . . .or. . .or. . . Then he looks at you with those eyes and those cheeks jiggling when he walks, and you can’t get too mad. It’s all a vicious circle. . .he’s here to destroy and melt hearts. He’s almost two and he’s preparing us well for it.

for cuteness overload! These precious girls are 2 week old twins Grace and Regina, my very first twin shoot. I had so much fun with these two and could have snuggled them all day. I’m so happy they made it into this world healthy and they are even letting their momma sleep 4 hours in a row at night. How lucky is she?!?!?!?! Congrats Lynette, Dean and family!

Now for their official debut:
