I had the pleasure of being asked to take this gorgeous family’s pictures by Jessica, an amazing photographer in New York (if you’re from there and need pictures, she is awesome!). I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, humble, gracious family to work with. Jessica has a heart of gold and I loved watching her joy at her family being photographed all together. If you’ve ever had your extended family photographed, you know how much work it is to get everything together for it. She was so excited and it made my heart sing to see her excitement. And the fact that she chose ME to do it was the icing on the cake.

I would love to have one like this of my siblings and I, there are four of us too and this picture has given me a mission to get it!

Funny story to this. I tell Jes’ dad to kiss her mom, so they kiss like they are kissing in front of a camera. . .naturally. So I told him to kiss her like he meant it and he went full gusto in for it taking her into the sand and all. I think the kids were a little grossed out, but I thought it was greatness.

10 month old Baby Jack. . .we did a series of him walking from daddy to mommy since he had just learned to walk. Pretty good for being on the sand!
